What It’s Like Working With Me

When you book a session with me, don’t expect to spend the whole time standing still and saying “cheese.” I’m after the real smiles, belly laughs, little personalities, and genuine connections that make your family yours.

I’ll chase your kiddos around the park, blow bubbles, make ridiculous noises, tickle the kids — and probably tell Mom or Dad to tickle someone too. We’ll play, cuddle, explore, and let your kids be kids. Of course, I’ll make sure we get those beautiful everyone-looking-at-the-camera photos, but some of my favourite images happen in the moments in between.

I also genuinely love getting to know the families I photograph. By the end of your session, I want it to feel less like you hired a photographer and more like you spent some time hanging out with someone who happened to bring a camera.

And don’t be surprised if you see my own little crew wandering around the park! During busy session days, I love having my family nearby so I can sneak in some time with them between clients — and there’s a pretty good chance you’ll get a wave or a hello from one of my girls.

Come as you are. You bring your family, their personalities, and even a little bit of chaos — I’ll take care of the memories.
